Send Email 0050_DSC_5533_5x7cNancy Meyers has practiced law in North Carolina since 1996, concentrating in the areas of medical malpractice, serious personal injury and wrongful death.  Her background in the medical field gives her a unique and exceptional perspective in dealing with injured clients and their families. Nancy has been admitted to the US Court of Federal Claims.  This special admission allows Ms. Meyers to represent clients who have been injured by vaccines.  The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program was established by Congress to allow individuals who have suffered injuries from the administration of vaccines and immunizations to make a claim and receive compensation for their injuries.    This no-fault compensation program involves making a claim, filed with the US Court of Federal Claims, for monetary damages for vaccine-related injuries or death.  Congress intended for the Vaccine Program to provide individuals with a swift, flexible and less adversarial alternative to the often lengthy and costly litigation process. Nancy graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in biology and then received her law degree from the University of Louisville School of Law cum laude in 1995. Nancy is a native of Greensboro and a graduate of Northwest High School.  She lives in Summerfield with her husband, Steve, a family doctor with Eagle Physicians of Oak Ridge, and her son.  They enjoy trips to Nags Head and to the North Carolina mountains.  Nancy is active in her church, Oak Ridge United Methodist Church, where she is involved in missions.
