Stephanie Grodem (also known throughout the firm as SJ) joined Ward Black Law in 2022 as a Medical Records Paralegal.  She handles all things medical records, which includes, at the intake level, requesting and reviewing medical records, organizing the diagnosing medical records, and presenting to the attorney for review. She further communicates with current clients to get updates on medical conditions, requesting updated medical records when necessary. She also organizes information for submission to receive expert physician reports when necessary.

Prior to Ward Black Law, Stephanie used her associates degree in legal office administration to work as a personal injury paralegal for five years.  She fit right into the Ward Black Law family like she belonged here forever.  She genuinely appreciates the loving team atmosphere and the encouragement she receives from her coworkers and leaders.

Stephanie grew up in Pennsylvania with her grandparents and father.  Her grandmother was a tremendous influence in her life.  She raised her four children plus a multitude of foster children and then took in Stephanie and her three siblings as well.  Her grandmother had the biggest heart and taught her to love deeply and to be there for people without judgment.  This developed in Stephanie an authenticity that is grounded by integrity, selflessness, and kindness.

When she is not working, Stephanie enjoys reading and researching various things that pique her curiosity. While she enjoys reading a variety of genres, her favorite author is John Grisham and she loves reading classics over and over again.  She also loves listening to true crime podcasts.
