Stephanie Salinas joined the team at Ward Black Law in 2021.  A North Carolina Certified Paralegal, she currently serves as a Senior Paralegal for the dangerous drugs and products department and also serves clients who have injured by harmful substances.  In addition, she assists with medical malpractice cases.

Stephanie received her undergraduate degree from Guilford College.  She earned a bachelor of science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Community & Justice Studies.  She attended GTCC and obtained her associate’s degree in Paralegal Technology in 2009 and later earned her North Carolina Paralegal certification in 2011.  She has experience handling criminal cases, personal injury, social security disability, estates administrative, immigration, and workers’ compensation.

One of Stephanie’s greatest joys working at Ward Black Law is the opportunity to serve clients and practically help them during times of need. She loves praying with them and encouraging them as they face difficult situations.  She is driven by a strong sense of integrity and genuine compassion for others.

Stephanie grew up in North Carolina after moving from Texas in the late 1980’s.  She has a passion and gift for writing poetry and enjoys crafting projects.  One of her favorite ways to spend her free time is with her family.  She also enjoys reading, some of her favorite books being Becoming Elisabeth Elliot by Ellen Vaughn, In My Father’s House by Corrie Ten Boom, and Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell.  Stephanie views life with one of her favorite Vincent Van Gogh quotes in mind:  “We are surrounded by poetry on all sides.”
