Ronda Holloway serves as the Executive Director of Ward Black Law.  She joined the firm in 2007 after 20 years working for a large global manufacturing company.  She is an engineer by degree and also has experience owning small family businesses.  With over 35 years of experience in management and leadership, Ronda currently works behind the scenes to help with strategy, leadership, business development, and solution integration.  She also helps with coaching, mentoring, and team development.

Ronda grew up in a small Eastern Tennessee town as the oldest of three sisters.  Her mother owned a beauty salon and her father was an executive in the finance industry.  Neither of her parents attended college, but they instilled in her the value of working hard and cultivating relationships.  Ronda loves gardening, a skill she learned from her paternal grandparents who were farmers.  She also loves coaching, a passion derived from her maternal grandparents who were educators.  Growing up, she loved playing sports, particularly basketball and softball. She is also very musically inclined, playing both the piano and guitar and sings.

Ronda is probably most passionate about people.  She believes her purpose in life is to love people and help them become who God intended them to be.  She is always willing to listen, coach, and encourage others and mentor them through particularly challenging situations.  She strongly believes we should do everything we do with love as the motivator.

When asked what she enjoys about working at Ward Black Law, Ronda said, “I love the feeling that we are a family. We care about others and our mission statement speaks the truth about who we are: we seek justice, give generously and love lavishly. And that’s true no matter who we are working with: each other, defense attorneys, adjusters, our team members, and even serving in our community. I feel like everything we do leads with love and puts the others first.”  One of her favorite quotes by Maya Angelou is “be the rainbow in someone’s cloud” and she strives to do this on a daily basis both personally and professionally.

Outside of the firm, Ronda loves spending time with her husband and their adult children and grandchildren.  She and her husband love the beach, doing yard work, and working out together at the gym.  They have 2 Main Coon cats and have really enjoyed them.  She loves reading the Bible and tries to stay engaged in a structured Bible study almost year-round.  She also enjoys reading fictional suspense books and those about the law (John Grisham is one of her favorite authors).
