0001_D3H_9106_FES. Camille Payton chaired the Workers’ Compensation section of the North Carolina Bar Association (2010-2011). Payton, a shareholder of Ward Black Law in Greensboro, headed the organization of 685 workers’ compensation lawyers from across the state. As section chair, she presided over meetings of the section council, which is the governing board of the section. Payton also co-authored and published the Workers’ Compensation Forms Manual.
Camille Payton has been practicing law since 1993. A native of Kinston, North Carolina, Payton graduated from UNC Chapel Hill and the University of Texas before practicing law in Greensboro. Payton has extensive trial experience. She is proud to take up the cause of people who need help dealing with large insurance companies or other corporations. In her free time, Payton enjoys creative writing and indoor gardening.
