A serious auto accident can be one of the most stressful times in a person’s life. Far too often, victims assume they can handle the complexities of a personal injury case on their own. Then they learn that insurance companies don’t always live up to their promises — looking out for what’s best for you. This was reality for Linda Mills. After finding herself in the middle of a six-car pileup on I-40 in North Carolina, she was left with a broken neck and mounds of medical bills to sort through.

$5.6 Verdict in Risperdal Case

Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a Johnson & Johnson unit was hit with a $5.6 million dollar verdict.  During a clinical study, a young man’s heart abnormalities were allegedly ignored by Janssen, resulting in his death.

Attorney Joins Ward Black Law

Ward Black Law is pleased to announce the addition of a new associate attorney, Megan E. Kunz, who joined the firm in August 2015.

Meg2 Kunz, a graduate of North Carolina Central University School of Law, represents people in personal injury and Social Security disability claims. She has been admitted to Federal Court, Middle District of North Carolina. Before law school, Kunz studied criminal justice and political science at Appalachian State University.

Kunz is involved in several professional organizations including the North Carolina Bar Association, the Greensboro Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She is an active members of the Triad community and regularly participates in service initiatives.
