Workers’ Compensation & Mesothelioma Attorney Joins Ward Black Law
Ward Black Law is pleased to announce the addition of attorney Jeffrey Lewis to their Greensboro firm, where he will focus on workers’ compensation law while engaging with the local community through openness and transparency. In addition to working with clients who have suffered harm in their work environments, Lewis also serves men and women with diseases such as mesothelioma stemming from workplace asbestos exposure.
“We are thankful that Jeff has agreed to join the Workers’ Compensation team at Ward Black Law,” said owner and lead attorney Janet Ward Black. “He brings a depth of knowledge and experience which will greatly benefit our clients who have been injured on the job.”
“I’m thrilled to join Ward Black Law”, said Lewis. “Their professional reputation is only exceeded by their reputation in the community, and I’m excited to continue to grow professionally at such a fine law firm”.
Jeff Lewis earned his Juris Doctor from UNC at Chapel Hill and Bachelor of Science in Business (Decision Sciences) from Miami University. With his former firm, Lewis was responsible for hundreds of cases, including the largest settlement in the firm’s history, earning his membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. His previous career experience includes serving as an adjunct professor for NC State University and work as a marketing and IT consultant for several companies across North America.
Born and raised in Ohio, Jeff Lewis moved to North Carolina in 2001 and now calls Greensboro home. He and his wife Sally are actively involved with their children’s school and youth sports activities, their church and the local community. A seasoned runner, Lewis has participated in countless races in the area and is a strong advocate of youth running.
