Botox injections are approved by the FDA for the treatment of many conditions including bleblepharospasm, cervical dystonia, and hyperhydrosis.
The FDA has received reports of Botox injections being used to treat children under the age of 12 for the treatment of Cerebal Palsy associated with limb spasticity. There have been reports of cases involving hospitalization and even death. Botox injections have not been approved for the treatment of Cerebal Palsy in the United States.
