We are so excited to be hosting our 10th annual Toys for Tots Kickoff this year! Together with the Marines and our local partners, we are offering a fun packed day to encourage our community to donate toys!
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
7:00am – Breakfast
7:00 am until 9:00 am – Kelly from Kiss FM
11:00 am until 1:00 pm – JB from WTQR
11:00 am until 2:00 pm – BBQ Chicken Lunch
3:00 pm until 5:00 pm – Andi Cooper from WTQR
3:00 pm until 6:00 pm – Children’s Activities and Santa Claus
The event will be a fun-filled day for all who participate by donating a toy…
Marines in uniform will greet visitors and collect toys and monetary donations. Come thank a Marine for serving our country and see the Humvee and 7-ton truck!
iHeart Radio will be keep the party going all day with music and talent from their local stations.
Starbucks coffee and Krispy Kreme donuts will be available first thing!
Free Biscuitville biscuits will be offered in the morning.
Grill 4 God BBQ Chicken lunches sponsored by Sports Medicine & Joint Replacement of Greensboro that will be served with coleslaw and macaroni and cheese from Above and Beyond Catering.
Coca-Cola will be onsite all day serving up your favorite soft drinks.
Great Clips stylist will be on site offering free haircuts for a minimum $5 Toys for Tots donation. Don’t have time for a haircut that day? Coupons for a discounted cut will be given for each donation.
Keystone Homes’ playhouse will be onsite for you to tour and purchase raffle tickets to win! All proceeds go to Toys for Tots.
Santa Claus will drop in to visit with the kids from 2:30pm to 5:30pm.
Kids activates from 3:00pm to 6:00pm include cookie decorating with A Sweet Success Bakery, balloon animals, face painting, crafts, and more!

Janet Ward Black is happy to be a table host for A Seat at the Table, the theme for the 2017 Women’s Executive Connection. Participants will hear from women in the Triad who have achieved success in their career. Past Athena Award winners and other speakers will share stories about their own career advancement and what they are doing to help other women navigate today’s constantly changing environment. Participants will also engage in hands-on activities to better understand how their behavioral style can help them get a seat at the table. A mini Business Showcase will give attendees the opportunity to network and learn more about some of our successful women-owned businesses in the Triad.
