Attorney Nichad Davis, a Greensboro native, handles serious personal injury and workers’ compensation claims for North Carolinians.
Nichad has a strong drive to serve people and make an impact on humanity. He credits some of his early passion for justice from his grandfather who was an academic advisor and mentor to members of the “Greensboro Four” at North Carolina A&T State University. Nichad grew up hearing conversations about justice, freedom, and equality.
Nichad received his Bachelor’s degree from UNC-Charlotte where he majored in Psychology. It was during his time working in South Africa that Nichad learned “ubuntu” which means “I am who I am because of who we all are.” This philosophy inspired him to join Teach for America and empower communities through education. Serving as a 7th grade social studies teacher in Duplin County, NC, he developed a heart for advocating for people, dismantling inequitable systems, and knew that a lawyer would make a sustainable impact. Nichad earned his law degree from Campbell University School of Law where he attended on Campbell’s coveted Public Service Scholarship. He was a two-time winner of the David Teddy Innovative Leadership Award and a national trial advocacy winner at Campbell Law School. Nichad practiced with the Hedrick Gardner firm in Charlotte before returning to his hometown of Greensboro to practice at Ward Black Law.
Nichad is passionate about education, NCAA football, and civil rights. He founded the “Rose from Concrete” Scholarship Fund at Dudley High School which recognizes high school seniors who display academic excellence and resilience through adversity.
