ReNu MoistureLoc

Some people using this product have developed a fungus called “fusarium” in their eyes. This fungus can lead to loss of vision and even blindness.

Bausch & Lomb issued a recall in May 2006.  Bausch & Lomb is advising anyone who uses its Renu Moisture-Loc Contact Solution to stop using it immediately.

On August, 23, 2006, a US research report indicated that one-third of patients with this serious eye infection linked to ReNu had such severe infections that they had or will need a corneal transplant.
