Levaquin

Levaquin® is an antibiotic frequently prescribed for the treatment of lung, sinus, skin and urinary tract infections.  In July 2008 the Federal Food and Drug Administration issued a Black Box warning relating to tendon ruptures for Levaquin.   We are reviewing cases for individuals diagnosed with unexplained tendonitis or rupture of one or both Achilles tendons while they were taking Levaquin or shortly after taking it.
